Nations At War

I reluctanly decide that I am going to have to do this one way or another -_-. I walk into an herb shop and show the apothocary my hand asking if he had any extra aloe that I could use for my hand and telling him that i "burned it while playing around with magic." while he was grabbing the aloe I quickly grabed some Lemon Balm from the shelf and but it into his tea. After he gives me the aloe I ask "I my self know a bit about apothocary would you care to have a quick conversation to discuss a few questions I have?"
"Sure," the man says.
We talk for about two minutes before he finally takes a sit of his tea and he is out cold within the next minute. i quickly grab around 5 eagles worth of herbs. I then take a bottle of whiskey the man had on his desk, and poor it all over him so he will think that he passed out drunk. I then go to a potion shop. I walk around and as I walk around place placing small amounts of smoldering deer weed. I walk out of the shop and come back in after a while and then proceed to take around 30 eagles worth of potions then I put a bit of skunk weed on him to make it seem like the man was smoking and passed out from drugs. I unhappily hand my my loot to Kaiser he approves then I walk away for a few minutes of atonement to Ra.

Kaiser watches silently as you all pad up and place all your findings on the table in front oh him. He nods his head and glances up at all of you.
"Know besides giving you all some experience in thievery, I'm about to show you some advanced magics and the results of war." He says as he places his hands over the pile of loot. He gestures you all to form a ring around him.
"Don't want the other folk to see whats happening." He mutters while you see the lines in his forehead constrict as he concentrates.
A soft golden glow starts to emit from his hands and spread in a small dome around the loot. In front of your eyes you see small gems make a faint "Pop!" sound as it turns into 3 eagles. You watch in awe as larger items start turning into Eagles and Crowns right before your eyes.
"Holy..." You hear zacky whisper under his breath.
Finally, the largest gem has been turned into gold and Kaiser takes a large sackcloth and shoves all the money into it. He then reaches in and hands you all 30 Eagles.
"There, you now have standard credit check for The Academy. Don't spend that, no matter how tempted you are."
He gestures with his hand and says "Follow me".
You walk through the crowded streets of the capital and smirk as you see the results of your distractions. There is a giant brawl in the east end of the market square, a giant fire new the gem district, as well as millions of birds near the south end. As you continue walking you start to notice the streets getting thinner and you see more people that look like Hobo, except their thinner and sitting along the walls. You can clearly see the ribcages of many and it looks like many haven't eaten in days.
"Welcome," Kaiser says solemley, "To the Capital... You think this is bad?" He asks. "This is what happens to regular people when rich people get in a polite argument. The giant war that we are having now? This will seem like paradise for you. As Kaiser walks through the streets he hands money out to the poor who greet him as a god and old friend.
"It seems like he has done this often." Mutters the gruff voice of Blue.
"What makes you say that?" Questions Hobo.
"You see there?" Blue points to a group of children and their parents. "The children immediatley started skipping joyeously when Kaiser came, as if they knew they would be able to eat for the next couple of weeks. The adults also have some sort of Tiger symbol on their neck. The same one thats on Kaisers back."
Kaiser comes back to you all and his bag is still half full.
"Come on," He says "Let me show you something else."
You follow him deeper into the slums and notice simple things of civilization falling apart the deeper you get into the slums.
"Stay close to me." Kaiser says.
You see a half eaten leg of a human sticking out of a trash can and 4 kids fighting over it. Kaiser throws a couple of coins in their direction and they scramble to pick them up. You see men strangling woman for a dead, feces sunken rat. You see kids chasing ants and shoving them down their mouth. You see the dead bodies that have been eaten directly to the bone, and kids scrounging the dead in hopes for a morsel of flesh. Kaiser then leads you out and you step into the middle class houses, Humble looking log cabins and brick houses stand here.
"They have been hit the most with taxes." Kaiser notes as he drops 20 eagles or so in every persons mailbox.
You spend the next 30 minutes looking at the horrors of what the non infulential people go through and as you walk back into the rich district, are tempted to vomit on how the rich live at the poors expense.
"Why do you think i take the time to show you this? Because you Need To Know... This war needs to end and 1 person can't do it. One person can lead others and be the beacon of hope for the people." Kaiser takes his the now empty sack of money and tucks it into his robes. "Now go back to the house. Youll find dinner in your room. Youll need a good night of sleep for tomorrow we are running nonstop to The Academy."
Kaiser turns into a dark alley and vanishes.

-Time Passes-

Your lying in your bed, staring at the cieling, thinking about what new things will Kaiser show you tomorrow, and what awaits you at The Academy....

You wake up in the morning to a knock on your door as your housecarl comes in with your set of clothes, armor, and weapon.
"Kaiser said to go down to breakfast and wait for him there. He also said to start eating and when he comes youll discuss certain things."
You trudge down to the breakfast hall, fully dressed and help yourself to some of the many things presented to you. A couple of minutes in, Zacky says "You know, why can't WE be the group that ends this war? What was this war about anyway? You saw the stuff that was going on to decent folk down there because of this war and meanwhile, people are living like kings in the same square mile!"
"Have you seen the state of us?" Rack says. "We barely held our own against wild boars. How do you suppose we end a nation-wide war thats been going on for years?"
"After our terms in The Academy, we'll be prepared. Plus, Kaiser seems willing to help considering he showed us that." Zacky replies.
"Well deal with that when we come ti it but I'm with zacky." Blue says. "Someone needs to end this shit, why not us?"
"Amen" says hobo as he rips into a chicken leg.
Kaiser walks down from his bedchambers fully armored and cloaked. "When your done, meet me at the North gate. We head for The Academy in 15 minutes." He walks out of the house.

You finish eating and find Kaiser leaning against a tree just outside the border of the city walls.
"Sit down." He says.
You all sit in a semi circle around him. He squats down and looks you all square in the eye.
"I'm about to tell you what you need to do in The Academy to survive. First, stick together. You 5 have been through some things that people your age shouldn't have, but i felt you were all mature enough to take action. Don't dissapoint me. Secondly, play at your strengths. Zacky, your best bet is to become a Geomancer. Commanders of the arcane arts and ancient healing magics. You should take courses on earth craft, water craft, restoration magics, and nature magics. All of nature, including animals will respect you. Blue, your best bet is a deathclaw. You have the power and you have one of the legendary Ra artifacts. Take classes on Earth, wind, and fire craft, as well as some classes to enhance use of claws and possibly armor smithing. Hobo, your a rogue so take wind crafting and wood crafting, as well as the standard rogue class default lign up which theyll give you in The Academy. Kreeper, your more of a berserker so take Earth, fire, and metal crafting and the default berserker lign up. Rack, I have no idea who the hell uses pieces of meat as a weapon but play at your strengths, of which i dont know. Lastly, The Academy is a place to enhance ones learning but it is also a place for recruiting. Many opportunities will present themselves to you all in which you will be tempted to join a faction or gang or country in war. DO NOT DO THIS. There will be a time when i will call upon your talents and we will end this war. You will see me around The Academy but do not act like you know me outside of The Academy. That means talk to me as a student-teacher relationship not as friend-friend. If you have any problems, look for me in the Masters den. Now lets go."
You all stand up and start a brisk jog towards your destiny.

General Announcement

Your terms at The Academy will be very dull so the years will go by fast. Youll pick subjects of study and unless i get hit by spark of inspiration, nothing unusual will come up untill summer, where ill lead you to do s100f. ANYWAY, some backstory on the whole area.

Some of you are probably wondering what crafting is. Like fire, water, air crafting etc. Well heres list and what they do.
First, a brief history.

Crafting originally was started when the first Alerans moved in to the new world now called Alera. When the people interacted with the enviornment, certain things in the enviornment housed spirits. Through hard work and dedication, the people managed to befriend the spirits and work with them to achieve what we know refer to as Crafting.

EarthCrafting - Earth spirits and strong, yet gentle. Earth spirits can only be called when a persons feet are touching the Earth directly, or they use another form of crafting to push the Earth spirits up. Fighters use EarthCrafting to call upon the strength of the Earth to give them short bursts of super human strength. Infantry can use Earth spirits to ride on, making travel much faster. Earth crafting also has a subtle side, where they can make others around them or individuals feel a attraction or pull toward the person doing the crafting. Basically its like a love potion without the potion.

FireCrafting - Fire spirits are wild and insatible when it comes to heat. Advanced firecrafters can use techniques in which they take the heat OUT of something, making it freeze instantly. This led to the development of cold stones, stones with strong fire spirits in them that suck the heat from around them, emiting clean, crisp, COLD air. Firecrafters can also hurl fireballs and do what youd think a fire crafter could do. Firecrafters can also let a subtle warmth spread through their body to keep the cold away. It's like a personal heater =D. Advanced firecrafters can also induce fear into many if they have a line of sight with the target. People who are firecrafted with fear become paranoid, jumpy, and very very scared.

WaterCrafting - Allows for the control of water. From moving streams to mixing the soup in a bowl with a gesture, watercrafters are well respected for their immense HEALING ablities. Blood is water and watercrafters can manipulate another persons blood and heal them. Certain VERY powerful watercrafters can even control the flow of blood in another person, controlling their actions. Water Crafters also have an enchanced emotional range, meaning they can sense peoples emotions and tell if they are lieng or not.

WoodCrafting - Expert Bowman are the greatest woodcrafters. Woodcrafting can let you blend into trees, and you can feel the wood shaft of an arrow as it leaps from your bow and penetrates your oponents body as the blood comes rushing out and they scream in terr- you get the point. Wood crafters can also change woods shape and make wood bend and twist to suit their needs.

MetalCrafters - The greatest bladesman in all of Alera are Expert MetalCrafters. MetalCrafters are able to call upon the metal of their sword and the sword truley feels like an extension of your arm. MetalCrafters can also draw upon the resiiance of their sword to ignore pain for up to 2 months. However, this could be bad as pain is an indicator of something wrong and ignoring the pain for too long can cause death. Expert metalcrafters have the ability to make their skin shine with metal for a limited time, however it is very painful.

AirCrafting - Advanced aircrafters can fly, while novice aircrafters can create a small windstream that enchances the vision of something, like a telescope except more portable. Aircrafting can also be used to "Slow down time" in a sense that the aircrafter is moving WAY faster than the things around he or she.

You approach the gates of The Academy and see the towering bell towers and the dormitories.
"Dayyaamm..." says kreeper as you approach the giant metal gates.
You see groups of 4-8 people around your age also coming in with their escorts.
"Like i said," Kaiser whispers, "Stick together. Your a team now."
As you all line up in front of the gates they creak open and a large man steps down from the steps and booms "WELCOME, TO THE ACADEMY!"

"Excuse me." Kaiser says to you as he steps up and takes his place to the right of the warrior and you see an elfen female wizard step up to the left of the Warrior, who then says
"WELL THAN, now that youve proven that your not useless lumps of flesh, it's time to get some REAL training into you. I am Xania, the head of the warrior division in this school."
Kaiser steps foward and says
"I am Kaiser, the head of the Crafting, Rogue, and Cursor division in this school."
The elf lady steps foward and says in a light voice
"I am Jaania, the master of the Arcane Arts in the school and the head of the Mage division."
"Now that were all aquianted," The warrior begins, "Behind me are the tables for sign ups on classes. Sign up for whatever you may choose but remember, there are nations out there that seek specific warriors. Learn what they want and feel the glory and HONOR OF BATTLE!" He yells and raises his warhammer up to cheers from the students. Kaiser looks directly at you 5 at this point and raises his chin a little. Knowing the horrors of war, you are 5 of the few 18 kids that didnt cheer.
You all walk inside and see around 20 tables as the 3 heads take their seat at some of them.
Blue turns to you all.
"Well this is where we find out where to play our strengths eh?" He says. "Kaiser offered us good advice. Id suggest we take it." He says before trudging off to look for Deathclaw specifications.

Here are your options.

There is a default mage, warrior, and rogue class setup which you can take if your too lazy to sign up for classes. Be warned, these do not offer specifications, but offer a wide range of skills that would be needed to become a specified mage, warrior ,or rogue.
You may only sign up for ONE crafting class per year.

Name-Kaiser

Race-Human (Participated in a blood binding ritual with the elves, making him an honored member of the elves, as well as giving him super advanced elven reflexes, sight, and hearing, as well as speed)

Age-24

Prefered Class-Rogue (Is adept at all skills but is a master at Rogue)

Affiliations- Head of the Rogue class in The Academy, Master Cursor, Master Crafter. Also head of underground organization known as カイザータイガー. Their symbol is a Bengel Tiger tattoo printed on the left side of their neck. (Information about gangs will come later)Good friends with MANY infulential people from all the countries. One of the few ambasadors of the Elven race.

Powers- Master of all crafting skills, Master Rogue, Adept Mage, Adept Warrior. (When i say Rogue/Mage/Warrior i mean hes a mster at all the skills associated with them.)

History- Kaiser was born and raised in The Capital, where his family was middle classed and lived a borderlined life, with heavy taxes from the rich. His birth name was Takahata. Started becoming involved in illegal actions at the age of 6, had his first kill at age of 8. Had a small group of friends and formed a gang that is now known today as カイザータイガー. The leftover money they received was use dto feed theri families and then feed the poor. They attracted quite a following of poor people and led a revolt of the poor and middle class vs the rich. Kaiser was 11 at the time. Overthrew the government and placed in new laws that made it easier on all the people, but the rich managed to lessen the taxes on themselves. Started major thievery at age of 13, where he stole from the rich to feed his gangs families, and the spare money went to the poor. Got caught 3 times and escaped by himself after 20 minutes in jail. He was 15 at the time. 2 of his closest friends died because of the Rich peoples bidding and he has never forgiven them for it. His terms at The Academy allowed him to show off his skills and surpass even his mentors. At the age of 19, he left The Academy because, no great hero EVER finishes their training. I mean, look a Luke Skywalker or Harry Potter. Even Master Chief... Anyway, he was immediately recruited by TroGladius where he led over 20 succesful campaings and won thousands of acres of land for TroGladius. He stopped at the age of 22 where he had already gathered a following in TroGladius that would follow him, sprinting into the mouth of a dragon, knowing that somehow, he would find a way to lead them out the other end draped in gold. He disapeared for 1 year, presumabley to travel to the Elven cities and forest, and returned as a recruiter for the Academy at the age of 24.

(P.S. Maybe my guy gets sick until I get back... Then he gets better.)

hmmm 2 things.

1. I like endless's idea about his character getting sick (no offence i just want to keep the story moving)

2. There are a lot of ways that a minotaur can look. and despite my skin rolling around as a minotaur with hooves, and a bull head just don't fit my swag. So i'm gonna say that I was born looking much more predominately human. That just means that I have a human face, and feet. But i still have the horns, increased muscle mass (compared to humans), and the tail of a minotaur. as well as fur covering my shoulders, upper back, chest, and from my waste going roughly down to almost touching my ankles. I just kinda like to think that i'd rather look more human as a minotaur than more bull. especially if my character gets into a relationship it seems much less... bestialityish.

I just wanted to point those out. Kreeper had a good idea, and I'm a more human looking minotaur than a bull looking minotaur.

As you all meet back up in the center after filling out all your courses, you see a group of drunk, spoiled brats causing a commotion. They are sumbling around harrassing the women and picking fights with guys. Kreeper yells durnkenly, "HEY ASSHOLES, why dont you leave the poor lass alone?" As the boys turn from their harrasment of a random girl they grin mishivously and start to walk toward you guys.
"God dammit Kreeper, look what you got us into..." Rack says as he lays a hand on his lambchops.
Blue grunts and rolls his shoulder while dulling his claws and you see hobo already has a loaded crossbow and a knife in his hand.
"Yoush gots a problems wish my atitudes?" The leader of the gang says drunkenly. "Ilsh have yoush know that my FATHER ish the heads of teh capitolsh. Without HIM, yoush would all bes poor! HA!" As he spits in Kreepers face. You look up and see Kaiser looking down at you and seems to aknowlege the fact and watches to see what your going to do.
"Well then assholes, well just have to teach you a lesson in humility." Rack says.
"Ands who the FUCK aresh you? Yous be using fucking piecesh of MEAT!!! Ands you hash the smelly hobo andsh some drunk idiot who dont no whats he be talking boutsh!"
"Thats it..."You hear Blue say as he punches the lead guy in the gut and lifts him above his head and throws him into 2 thers. Hobo fires a dulled crossbow bolt at one of them and staggers him. Rack smacks the guy who insulted his weapons in the head with both his lambchops and says "Bitch dont insult my lambchops."
Zacky hurls a small spell that Kaiser taught him and the target falls over laughing as if beign tickled.
"A tickle charm?" Hobo says skeptically.
"Well i didn't want to kill him!" zacky says apoligetically. Hobo shakes his head and turns to help Kreeper as Kreeper gets punched in the gut and is getting beat up by 3 people.
"Come on!" Says Rack as you all rush to his aid, not before heg ets punched in the face, stomach, and chest multiple times. You swiftly dispatch the other 3 and help Kreeper up, only yo have hi, throw up on the idiots on the ground.
Kaiser seems to appear out of thin air and helps you support Kreeper. "Come on, to The Infirmary with you." HE says as he carries Kreepers weak form to the Infirmary wing.
"Well fuck..." Says Rack.

Directed at all but Kreeper whos lieng almost dead in the infirmary and will be out of action untill further notice.

You hear the bell ring to signify that everyone has signed up for their classes and you are about to be briefed by your heads oh house. You look at the lists and see all 5 of you are on Kaiser's list. Each Leader of classes in The Academy has about 75 students that belong to his or her house. Among those 75, 5 are chosen to be the Head of Houses Cursor. Cursors are the most reliable,powerful, and trustworthy of the Leaders students. You 5 are Kaisers Cursors and in addition to Homework and assignments, Kaiser will assign specific things for you all to do throughout your schooling. There is some competition among the Leaders on who will make the greatest students as at the end of the year, there is a mock war between all 3 where it's like a video game, you die, you are spawned up to a spectater arena thanks to powers of magic =D. You all head to the Rogues den, a homely building with furs on the walls and different types of Rogue styled weapons. You all gather around Kaiser who stands on a podium.
"WELCOME! Welcome one and all to another grand year at The Academy. Some of you may be wondering why I, the head of Rogues, is teaching you when you are a mage or warrior? That is because we all have something in common here. While many of you don't know it, I will be able to bring out the best in all of you and we will CRUSH the other houses in the end of year war!"
Your fellow students cheer along with you as Kaiser shows you all to the dorms and starts handing out schedules. As he finishes he turns around and says "Oh yeah, one more thing. Remember on the 24th day of Winter is the Cadets Ball, and I don't intend for ANY of my students to go by themselves. SO you better learn to dance and not make us all look like fools." With that, Kaiser returns to his office. You head up to the dorms as you hear the friendly banter from classmates as old friends reunite and new friends are made. You collapse exauhsted in your bed and fall asleep almost immediately.


-1 Month In-

As you head down to breakfast with your friends, you are assimilated into the new schedule of The Academy. You know who to avoid, who will try to hurt you, and who will try to recruit you into a warring nation. As you sit down, Hobo, Who looks way better and smells way better now that he has fresh clothes and acess to bathrooms, says "Dudes, the Cadets Ball is 1 month away and we STILL havent got any dates."
"Yeah well at least one of us isn't gonna have a problem getting a date." Rack says as he sits down with his breakfast. "Have you seen the amount of girls that are checking Blue out? Wish you'd send some my way..."
Zacky puts on a girly voice and says "Oh hes so strong and handsome" As the whole group laughs and Blue looks down, embarresed.
"So hows Kreeper doing?" Blue asks in an attempt to change the subject.
"Not good." Zacky says. "Kaiser is teaching me more of the healing arts by having me practice on Kreeper but we don't know when he's gonna get better."
A small girl comes running up to you all and says "Are you Kaisers Cursors?"
"Yeah" Blue responds guffly. "Whats it to you?"
"He told me to give you this." She hands you a scroll and scurries away.
You unfurrel the scroll and start to read.

Cursors

The time has come for your first assignment as my cursors. 1 week before the Cadets Ball, some of the sons and daughters of the most infulencial people in The Capital will be coming to participate and scout out potential recruits for their warring efforts. The high sons of Lord and Lady Barona, as well as the sons of the Greatest warriors from Bartonia will be there as well, as will representatives from TroGladius and Serix. You job is to, er, persuade 4 Bartonian representatives and the daughter of high lady Seria, Jane, to either leave or stop recruiting efforts. Now you will need to divide up the tasks from stealing the schedules of these people, devising a plan to capture them, as well as what your going to do once you capture them. You could torture them of course untill ALMOST dead. REMEMBER, i want them alive, but scared enough to stop recruiting. Think of all this while still performing your duties in The Academy. Remember, the Cursors of the Warrior and Mage class may attempt to defend them so get to work.

Kaiser

"Well," I say to the group "I suggest that before we decide anything that we say what exactly we would be good at helping with. I myself can help with the capture of these people a bit of drugs such as lemon balm and maybe a little poison ivy salad might help us capture some people as I do have access to their quarters since I take cooking, I can be sure to whip up something special to help them sleep or just make them have a bad time. I would like to work on capturing these people, but if you want I guess I can offer some help on torturing them, Ra forbid."

"Well provided that you can get them to me, I can make sure they were never born. errr I mean. They'll wish they never started recruiting." I quickly correct myself. The whole group gives me a worried glance. "what?" I ask
"Well I think we're a little worried about you getting... carried away." Rack says
"Oh there's no need to worry about that. You'd be surprised what the human body can go through without breaking." I say cracking my fingers. "and besides. If I do get a little carried away that's what we have Zacky for right?"
"I guess" Zacky mumbles
"Alright if you can get them to me I'll try to hold back. no promises though"

"i am a pro at this kind of shit"
"what do u plan to do?" zacky asks.
"im a sneak behind them and knock them out. trying not to kill them"
"how would u kill them?" asks rack.
"well if i mess up the amout of potion i put on a cloth that makes them pass out, they might die............"
"well dont mess the fuck up" says blue

"well I heard that all of these royal, important, high dignified snoobs like to travel by themselves". "I suggest that we each target a few of them and then bring them back to blue for the torturing". I spoke last in the group waiting to hear the idea of all of my companions. They all seemed like good idea so i decided to take charge in the group for a few moments and assimilate all the ideas. "Ok so ill take out Jane and one of the bartonian representatives, hobo you take out 2 of the bartonian representatives with your cloth skills and Zacky you take out 2 bartonian representatives too with your poison cooking". I pause looking for any objections then i turn to blue,"Blue you choose a delivery point so we can drop the representatives and daughter off there for there umm special treatment". Then I look at hobo and blue at the same time and say," don't fucking kill them hold back a little" with that said I think we can do this mission, but be careful the cursors of the warrior and mage will defenitely get in out way, be strong enough to take them out."

Its 3 days before the Cadets Ball and you STILL don't have dates.
As your walking down the hall to lunch, Rack says "Guys we better get a move on. I bet all the good ones are taken..."
You sit down for lunch and look around and try to figure out who has a date and who does not.
"This is pointless. We just need to grow a pair and talk to them." Hobo says as he slams his fist on the table.
"Well at least we know that 3 of the Barotnian reps are gonna be female and the Serix one is female so we may be able to somehow seduce them into going to ball with us and then trap them at night or something." Says Blue.
You all eat in silence as you check out the girls roaming the lunch room...


Ok heres where you all get creative. You have 3 posts to come up with some plot or something in which you meet a girl and whatnot. Hint, the represntatives will be coming 1 day before the Ball so, id get a move on.
ALSO, try to put in details, even little ones like "As i came from earth crafting class i saw this chick with HUGE boo-" You get the point.

As I think to myself I decide that it would not be worth to try and impress a Barotnian rep. I start looking for girls in my classes and I notice about an 8/10 though she is shy and secludes herself from groups of people. I have her in 3 of my classes and I feel that I can win her over if I get to know her. I start sitting next to her in my classes and I decide to eat lunch with her to see if I can find out what she is like.

Either your all really not creative, or your all stupid so im reducing it to 1 post and heres a little idea of what to do.

As i walk out of the Earth Crafting class with thoughts of flying bouncing around my head, I notice one of the very shy girls who i share many classes with is being harassed by some drunk idiot with a rich father.
"Yoush betersh goes to thesh ballsh with me."He slurrs.
"Get away from me!" I hear hear scream.
I walk faster to the 2 and as i hear the drunk say "What the fucks did you fucking seys to mes bitch? Imasha mesh your purty little fashe up so no ones will goesh to the ballsh with you!"
As he brings his fist back for a punch, a i quickly catch his fist with my hand, spinning to dislodge the books from my hand.
"Back off asshole." I say calmly.
"Yoush got some nervesh kid. Yoush knows whos my fathersh ish?" he slurs.
"I dont know and i dont care now back the fuck off" I reply in the same monotone.
He turns around and says to his drunk friend. "Thish idiotsh don't knowsh my fathersh! Ima mess his fas- OOF" He says with his back turned as i deliver a side kick to his liver sending him flying to the ground. As he stumbles, trying to get up, i turn to the girl.
"You allright?" I ask, with a concerned look on my face.
She nods and clutches her books to her chest and glances down shyly. Damn she really was cute.
"Get away from here, i don't want you getting hurt." I say as the drunk stumbles up amid curses. She notices this, glances at me and nods, then scurries away into the crowd of people gathering.
"Noone, fucking hitsh me likes thats and gets away withsh it." He says as he pulls back his first for another drunken punch. I call upon the wind furies for speed and the earth furies from the dirt of the courtyard that my feet touch to give me strength as i deliver a punch to his ribs and a swift upercut to hit jaw, hearing a nice, sharp crack,, knowing that i broke some bones with that one.
He falls down bleeding from his nose and mouth and yells incoherantley as his friends pull out knives and slowly souround me. The drunken idiot gets up and says "Nowsh you in for itsh. Its 5 against ones your fucking dead kid"
"Why don't you go get about 20 more then it MIGHT be a fair fight." I reply calmly as i take up a fighting stance, backing up to the wall so they cant flank me.
"GET HIM" He yells as the all charge me at once.
I grab the closets person and with furyborn strength i snap his wrist sending the knife flying and lodged into the wall. I throw his body into the 2nd closest atacker and watch as his knife impales his leg and they both go down. I grab the 3rd attackers hair and slam his head into my knee while spinning to the right to avoid the 4th attackers knife thrust. I then grab the 4th attackers arm and break it in half, as he collapses to the floor screaming in pain. The drunken leader and the 5th atacker charge me at the same time and i jump up onto their shoulders, grab their heads and smash them together. I jump down, grab their money purses, toss them up in their air and pocket them all. I then turn to the crowd and say as i open my arms wide and a grin on my face "Shows over folks!"
I calmly walk my way through the crowd as a path seems to make its way for me. As i head up to the dorm, the shy girl from before comes up and taps me on the shoulder.
"Thank...Thank you, for helping me back there. I'm Asami." She says as she brushes a strand of brown hair away from her face. "You dont have to tel me who you are. Your Kaiser right?" She asks as i nod my head. "The teachers were all talking about how your a prodigy and whatnot. Do you think you could, you could teach me some self defense moves so i can defend myself if your ever not there to help me?" She asks looking up at me with big, brown eyes.
I nod and say "Of course, head by the abandoned storeroom in 1 hour or so and ill be there."

-1 hour passes-

I enter the abandoned storeroom and see here there waiting for me. I help her with some self defense moves and as i pretend to be the attacker, letting her practice some of them on me, she turns around and hugs me around the chest instead.
"I have never had someone care for me like that. I want to thank you again for doing that and, and.. will you come to the ball with me" She blurts out really fast.
I look down into her eyes and stroke her hair with my hand as i say sure, meet me at the great hall 1 hour before, ill wait for you there.
Her face breaks into a smile that could turn the gloomiest of days into the brightest summer sunshine day you have ever seen as she kisses me on the cheek and skips out of the storehouse. I touch the spot where her lips met my cheek and stand there stunned for a minute or so before heading up to my dorm, ready to deal with the punishment for beating up 6, drunken, rich, idiot bastards and smile to myself.

I decided to go for a walk around the academy. "A date huh" I say to myself "Kaiser must be getting a big kick out of watching us try to get one" As I turn the corner seemingly out of no where a knife flies into the wall by my head. I jump back for a second in shock. As I look close at it it seems to have a piece of paper attached to it. I pull it off and read it. It says
"Blue, meet me at the battle spheres in 20 minutes. -Eve."
"Eve huh?" I think to myself. Eve was a fairly quiet girl, though not at all shy. She was best known around the campus as "The Master Of Poisons" since her favorite way to fight was with her mostly home made toxins. She was a pretty cute girl. Not to tall, with fairly short brown hair. She could always be recognized by the light grey cloak she wears every where. No one knows why she wears it, but you'll be hard pressed to find her with it off. She is an extremely stealthy, and fast fighter. Relying on making small hits that are just enough to get her target withe her poison.
I make my way towards the battle spheres. The battle spheres are magical spheres located towards the back of the school. People may enter the spheres and they scan them taking data on their magical, and physical prowess. As well as the gear that they are currently wearing. It then Projects the subconscious of the people in it to any terrain they wish, so that people may battle without fear of death.
Eve Is standing by one of the farther back spheres when I approach her. "Do you need something from me?" I ask
"You're dueling me, NOW!" She replies bluntly. She then immediately walks into the sphere. I shrug and quickly follow her. As I enter the sphere I can feel an unseen force lift me up and a blue light begins to work it's way down my body. Once it's finished. A jungle begins to materialize around me.
"You have 10 minutes starting now!" A robotic voice says.
"Great a jungle" I grumble "I'm at an obvious disadvantage here"
"Of course I hear" Eve say. I look around trying to judge where her voice came from, but the jungle is too dense to tell. I begin to listen to my surroundings for any sign that she's there. I hear a whizzing sound as a knife comes flying from one of the tree tops. I try to turn to dodge it, but it skims across my arm leaving a small cut. I cry out in pain as it feels like my arm is on fire. Eve then jumps down from the trees with 2 daggers in hand, and begins her assault. I quickly slash towards her with my good arm, but she easily parries it and jumps behind me. I dive forwards hoping to prevent her from stabbing me and roll onto my feet. I see her lunging at me with her daggers so I quickly jump back and try to stab her with my claws. I hit her shoulder, but it wasn't a very good hit. She quickly retreats back into the jungle canopy. I can hear her cackling in the treetops. "I can't take her head on" I say. "But I have to find a way to get her to come down from those trees again."
"You'll never win Blue" She taunts in a sing song voice. I begin thinking of a way to get her down.
"She seems to be extremely cocky" I ponder "Maybe I can use that to my advantage." I barely have time to finish thinking before another knife fly's from the trees barely missing my head. I slowly back towards a tree as i listen to her incessant laughter. I press up against the tree and begin to wait. It isn't long before I see an arrow going straight for my chest. She had fired a bow in hopes of piercing my armor. I quickly grab it, but hold it out at my chest as if it had hit. I fall and sit up straight against the tree, and begin moaning as if in pain. I see her quickly hop down from the trees In front of me and begin strutting towards me.
"It looks like I win" She mocks. As she begins to draw her knife I spring to my feet and dash at her knocking her to the ground. As I'm about to stab her through the chest with my claws, and she's about to stab my neck we hear an all too familiar voice.
"Time up" The robotic voice says. The forest dissipates around us and we are left alone with me on top of her in a blue dome.
"You can move any time now" she says with a smirk. I quickly scramble to my feet and apologize.
"So Why the sudden challenge?" I ask
"I needed to make sure you were as good as they say before I asked you to the cadets ball" She replies
"Well? Was I as good as they say?" I ask. She smiles as she walks towards me until our chests are nearly touching
"Even better" She says. She then gives me a quick peck on the cheek and walks off for a second. "come on!" She urges "Let's get something to eat" She says holding out her hand. I smile and touch my cheek where she kissed me before walking towards her, and grabbing her outstretched hand.
