Recreate LaL?

would any one mind if i recreated a live and learn server but have a different name for it and maybe add some different features? also if this does get approved i would need some people that have played for a long time to help me out

kinda a little too late when i already have a server up and almost done for the public, and yes i quite enjoy have men suck my nuts, more appointed to you there sir but anyways have a fucking fabulous day and hope to never see you on my server, Lal V2 is up and good to go

I have no idea how I compare to other people, but I started playing in July 2012 so maybe I'm allowed to say...

How the hell is it a recreation of LiveandLearn if it's a different name with different stuff...? If you plan on it being a prison server with the same ranks and mines or something so obviously copied, then I don't want that to exist. I'd rather Nick just finishes with the coding and we can have the OLD LaL back, rather than a cheap knock-off.

If Nick's new server is taking this long, than it's obviously not going to be a rushed, unfun server- for all we know, when it releases it could be flawless. The fact that you, sab, asked to create one and then created one in almost no time at all means that your server is likely not doing any justice whatsoever to the original LaL.

I would be ok with you using some elements of the old LaL. For example, I really enjoyed the old event system, so I thought I would implement it on my server but change it the way I like it.

And with my 143rd post, I am officially on the Top Posters list.

and actually no my server isnt rushed in any ways what so ever, its really well thought out and possibly even better than the origanal Lal, i highly doubt nick is still even coding the server. better to have a server thats up than a server that isnt.

The fact is you do not have Nick's approval on "Re-Building" LaL. When you do have Nicks approval, by all means, copy it block for block. But until then, you can't just remake it. Especially under the same name.

Nick isn't putting LaL back up. 15 said the MC community went to shit and so if they do put it back up it will be for another game.

It's been down for over a year now. Sabs put $100 into that server, and I put $50 into it. We did that to 1: Get nice stuff and 2: KEEP THE SERVER RUNNING. People tend to forget the 2nd part.
